I’m sitting here, in my kitchen, looking at all of the stuff I need to clean. The counter is sticky from this morning’s cereal that wasn’t cleaned up. There’s Pokemon cards scattered across the floor amongst the crumbs from said cereal. And there’s laundry piled high that needs to be cleaned, or folded, or put away. But you know what? It’s quiet. The boys are in school full time and my days are much less chaotic. I remember wishing for these days. Wishing I could get 30 minutes of their naps overlapping for just a smidge of “me-time.” Now that moment is here and I have zero clue where that time went?

I was lucky enough to be a stay-at-home mom for 5 years. Through the tantrums, cuddles, potty-training, no-napping and constant entertaining, I would have loved for someone to come and take notice. For me to be seen and to be a witness to that extraordinary time in not just my life, but my kids’ lives with no judgement. It’s what I hope to give to you now.
From their birth and far beyond it….take the damn photos.
